The PADI Open Water Diver course is the world’s most popular and widely recognised scuba certification course for beginners.

Academic
- Knowledge development to understand basic principles of scuba diving
- Confined water sessions (pool training) to learn basic scuba skills and practice dives
- 4 open water dives to use your skills and explore

Certification
The PADI Open Water Diver certification is valid worldwide and does not expire. It allows you to dive to a maximum depth of 18 metres.

Start your certification from home by enrolling in PADI eLearning today.

Then complete the practical part of the PADI Open Water Diver course with Fun Divers Zanzibar: 5 confined water sessions in a pool and 4 open water dives.

Advanced Open Water Diver

The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course advances your diving knowledge and skills. It helps you build confidence in navigation, fine-tune buoyancy and introduces you to different diving activities.

- Knowledge development
- 2 obligatory adventure dives (Deep Dive and Navigation Dive)
- 3 additional adventure dives of your choice (we recommend Peak Performance Buoyancy, Drift Dive and Fish Identification Dive).
