PADI Open Water Diver

Scuba Certification Course

Full Course

The PADI Open Water Diver course is the world’s most recognized scuba certification course for beginners. 

Duration

3-4 days

Academic
  • Knowledge development to understand scuba diving fundamentals
  • 5 confined water sessions to learn basic scuba skills and practice dives
  • 4 open water dives to use your skills and explore
PADI eLearning

Start your scuba training digitally with PADI eLearning. You can study offline or online using your own computer or mobile device. Time commitment 5‑10 hours.

Get a personalised course schedule (mornings/afternoons) that fits your capabilities and requirements, and adjusts to weather and sea conditions, planned flexibly on-site by your instructor.

Certification

The PADI Open Water Diver certification is valid worldwide and does not expire. It allows you to dive to a maximum depth of 18 metres.

Practical Part

Prerequisite

Provide us with your valid eRecord when you completed PADI eLearning with another store and wish to complete the practical part of the course with us.

Referral

A PADI Open Water referral allows you to complete the theory and confined water training with another dive store. Then complete your certification with Fun Divers Zanzibar.

      The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course advances your diving knowledge and skills. It helps you build confidence in navigation, fine-tune buoyancy and introduces you to different diving activities.

        Emergency First Response primary and secondary care training teaches you what to do in the critical moments between when a life-threatening emergency occurs and when emergency medical services arrive.
